Original South China Sea Restaurant

Good food for a hungry family. When many local restaurants were understandably closed July 1, South China Sea provided us with a yummy Chinese Food take-away. We ordered Dinner for 2(B) and Dinner for 3(A)...it was plenty for our gathering of 5 adults and 3 children...probably could have fed twice s many! My favourite was the Sweet Sour Boneless Pork, but it was all good. The price was very reasonable. There is Free Delivery for orders over $40 but because we drove there to see if it was open, our order was ready in just 20 minutes and we got the standard 10% off for pickup on orders over $40...and 6 free cans of Pepsi for orders over $70. We’ll definitely be ordering from South China Sea again.

Ginger beef, sweet and sour chicken were over cooked and tough. The chicken balls and deep fried shrimp were heavily battered and tough. Vegetable and meat dishes were okay and the deep fried chicken was good. Not sure I would return for a meal

Ordered Beef Tenderloin, it was very salty. Fried rice somehow was on the sweet side. Will not recommend this place.

The best! Huge portions. The seafood cantonese was packed with seafood. Sooo fresh. I haven’t tasted ginger beef this good anywhere! I also recommend the cashew chicken. Ordered on New Year’s Eve, said they were backed up and still allowed us to order. They even stayed late to serve the community. Outstanding business. Thank you South China Sea.

I called in, my second time ever from here. And I work in a busy restaurant too so I get that it’s annoying to take delivery calls. The woman who answered was very rude from the beginning and just because they were busy. I am a customer too. Disrespectful and IMPOLITE. AT LEAST FAKE IT. I heard her talking **** too. Not the first time.
