This place is a treat. All employees are very nice to ask about your activities for the day what drinks suggests or just a pleasure to be around. Beverages are delicious and local, there is a taste that you cannot get on a chain. Besides, the vibe is on the point. Very recommended to check them out! They won't be disappointed.

Went here three mornings in a row on a recent trip to Maui. Consistently great, quick service and the food and coffee was awesome! The cinnamon roll was incredible.

During our trip to Maui, we visited this Akamai location at least four times. The coffee and service were consistently excellent. We brewed our own coffee at home in the early mornings and then stopped by around mid to late morning for iced coffee. I highly recommend the NOLA, a cold brew that is lightly sweetened and can be made with any type of milk (oat milk pairs wonderfully!). They also offer delicious pastries, although you won't find them on the menu. The inside of the café was clean; I didn't notice any overflowing trash cans, dirty tables, or debris. I used the drive-thru once, but on the other visits, I opted to walk in.
