The staff here are very knowledgeable and although there isn't a designated area, they were more than willing to create one using clean chopping boards and knives if necessary. My daughter ordered wedges and a smoothie, which she enjoyed.

This is a fantastic place to stop for lunch! I tried the salmon quesadilla and the cacao beef nachos, and both dishes were of excellent quality. The service was also great. I enjoyed a delicious iced mocha as well. Although I haven't tried the breakfast menu yet, the options looked very appealing. The only drawback was that we didn't receive any water at our table, but we didn't ask for it either. I would definitely come back here again!

Absolutely loved it! We headed there for lunch and ordered the nachos and chicken tostada, which we devoured in no time. The kids' meals disappeared just as fast! They also offer a great selection of local drinks. There's plenty of seating, both indoors and outdoors, with options for shady or sunny spots. You really can't go wrong!

The food was excellent. I ordered the eggs Benedict, and they were fantastic. The soup of the day was also very enjoyable, and the eggs paired with avocado were delicious. The fresh juice complemented our meal nicely.

The best breakfast in Kaikoura, hands down. You know how a lot of places do Eggs Benedict, and you taste them and you just end up with that fatty eggy butter film in your mouth afterwards because the cook never read the bit of the recipe that said to add lemon to the sauce? This is NOT that place. The eggs bene have just the right touch of acid, and the wholefoods/health focus that runs through the food means that every thing is INTERESTING. Each mouthful is different to other cafes, in that good way. The hotcakes are about the flavours of the oats and the fruit, not just cream and maple syrup. The hashbrowns are real, and not just out of a packet. The addition of little things like feta and hot sauce cut through the fatty creaminess of the eggs and balance them out. It's little touches like these, balancing out the food, that makes this the best breakfast in Kaikoura. Make sure to get another coffee, they're GREAT.
