Food drinks: Harvey house and tavern has amazing food and drinks I highly recommend the prickly pear margarita

Did not stay here but went for lunch and drink. Hiked the rim trail from Mather point. Fire place was functional to warm ourselves after a 3 mile hike.

My new favorite vacation spot! Arrived on a snowy afternoon and was very pleased with the charm of the rustic yet modern feel of the cabin. The comfy bed and bathroom with a heating fan made for a great stay. Groups of elk and deer grazed and slept in the meadow within viewing distance of the cabin. We chose this lodge for its location and walkability from the rim and nearby activities, and fell in love with everything that it had to offer. Stayed here for our anniversary this past week. We were put in a cozy cabin. Room was clean. Bed was comfortable and the view was great.
