Brisas Latín Cuisine - Goldsboro

When my husband and I came for dinner, we noticed that many of the meals seemed to be versions of dishes that merely had mashed potatoes swapped in, and unfortunately, we didn't find them very tasty. On a positive note, I did enjoy the green and sweet plantains I tried, and the street corn was decent. Regrettably, the service has been lacking during all our visits. Typically, I wait at the entrance, but no one comes to seat us, even though the sign says to wait for a host. After some time, someone from the bar shouts for us to seat ourselves. Overall, I really want to like this place, but the inconsistency leaves much to be desired. I believe they could do more to enhance the authenticity of their dishes; to me, the offerings feel more American than anything else.

The food here is incredible! The portions are generous, too! I had the pleasure of meeting Chef Ruben and expressing my gratitude for the outstanding meal he prepared. He is truly a remarkable chef! I will certainly return with my family. I highly recommend the chicken carbonara, but honestly, everything on the menu was delicious. The sweet plantains were my favorite! Jeff was an excellent server as well—if you visit, be sure to ask for him! I have nothing but positive things to say about this place. Thank you for providing my family and me with a wonderful experience! The bartenders were fantastic as well.

**Food:** All four of us concurred that the food was outstanding, as we each tried something different. **Service:** Excellent. **Atmosphere:** Very good, although the music was a bit loud for conversation; however, it had a great quality. If you're looking for a place to enjoy dinner in a pleasant setting, this is the spot for you—it's sure to impress. It was our first visit, and we will definitely return. **Food Rating:** 5/5

This place was absolutely amazing the food made me dance I was so happy to try this place. The service was amazing. I most definitely will be returning for their amazing chicken tacos and spicy crab sushi rolls.Food: 5/5
