Subway - Gainesville

I was really disappointed with my visit to this restaurant. The men's restroom was out of hand soap, which is unacceptable and gives the impression that they don't check the restrooms regularly. Additionally, the three employees preparing our food didn’t seem to follow directions well; two out of the three sandwiches had to be repeated. They also had trouble processing my payment through the Subway app. The cashier didn’t believe me when I stated my linked Subway card balance was more than sufficient to cover the total. In the end, I had to swipe my Subway card to pay, which felt very outdated. I definitely won't be coming back to this location.

I just left this restaurant feeling very frustrated. My husband and I were the only customers there, and the woman at the counter was rude and kept rushing us to place our order. After asking for the fifth time within two minutes what we wanted, we finally ordered. I had to repeat myself twice regarding the type of bread I wanted. She continued to pressure us by immediately asking what else we wanted after we had just provided the ingredients for our subs. The food presentation was unacceptable; the guacamole was brown, the lettuce was extremely wilted, and the black olives were turning brown, likely from sitting out uncovered for too long. I will not be returning to this location, and I sincerely hope management addresses this unpleasant experience.

If I could give this restaurant a negative rating, I definitely would. Every time I order a sub online, it has the bare minimum amount of toppings, and it's often missing something entirely. For example, a veggie sub should be packed with vegetables, but that’s not the case here. They create the saddest sandwiches possible. When you open your sub and take a look inside, you can't help but feel deceived.

I stopped by around 10:45am to pick up two fresh subs for lunch. Everything was well prepped and bread was freshly made. The lady making my sub was friendly and provided great service.

I frequently go to this location and always get excellent fast service and fresh subs/salads. The place is extremely clean and spacious. I recommend going there for fresh and fast food needs.
