Could not fault anything except veggie meal we had i ordered and apart from gnoccie it was the same as starter very bad for such a place to let themselves down like that our waiters male and female were fantastic with everyone including the children

Cannot praise this country house dining establishment enough it is in a beautiful setting, with cosy lounges and dining areas. The Sunday lunch is excellent value, beautifully served by very pleasant staff. Between us we had the beef and the lamb, all cooked to perfection and to our individual tastes. From the starters we chose smoked salmon and prawn, soup and mushrooms, then an assortment of sweets. The service is attentive yet unobtrusive, the value excellent. It’s no wonder we often can’t get in as it gets booked up early. A lovely change from the serve yourself carveries or modern themed restaurants. This was not our first visit, and we will definitely return.

Fabulous place. Attended an all day wedding and was so impressed with everything. The room was amazing (no 3) the view, decor and comfort was excellent. The wedding venue, decor, food and service was top class. The grounds are just wonderful and the Alpaca's adorable. Breakfast was delicious. Can't praise this place enough. We travelled from afar and was thrilled with the whole experience. The bar staff at night were just lovely.

We came today for a late Mother’s Day Sunday Lunch and everything was superb. Our various 3 courses were all of the highest quality, plentiful and the service was impeccable. We will definitely be back for special Sundays again.
