Nice atmosphere location but something was wrong with the food the night we went. We had fried green tomatoes for the appetizer, and the tomatoes were tasteless. You really want some tartness and they were literally tasteless. The goat cheese chow chow couldn't do anything about the tomatoes. If the tomatoes aren't up to par, maybe they shouldn't be served? I had a TMJT burger with garlic mashed potatoes. My medium burger was cooked perfectly but the meat itself lacked seasoning. So the flavor was more sweet than anything else. The burger was on the smaller side too and not filling. The garlic mashed potatoes, on the other hand, did not lack seasoning. Lots of garlic butter but also waaaay too much salt. I ate it but thought hard about not eating it, but I dislike wasting food. My wife had shrimp grits. The grits themselves were solid, but the shrimp, peppers, onions were waaaaay over salted, and the country ham was disgustingly over salted. I love meat in all its forms and the country ham was inedible. Overall, it was bad enough that she couldn't finish it and I couldn't stomach it. I doubt this is a normal occurrence, because there's no way a restaurant can stay open while making such egregious mistakes. But I'm not wasting more money to see if they can do better next time, there are plenty of other places to eat.

We just moved here from Texas and were looking for a place to frequent. We absolutely loved this gem. The wait staff were amazing the entire time. Try the pimento burger on point the appetizer was a sweet doughnut and it was amazing. If you are ever in Fuquay def try this place out!

This place came highly recommended to us; Chamber of Commerce for FV mentioned it after a few other small business owners around the area did as well. Went in with my mom and a friend. Colee was our server, who knew the menu front and back.I had the pulled pork sandwich with the bacon brussels sprouts as an upgraded side. The BBQ sauce was wonderful on the pork. The brussels sprouts are divine and so friggin' tasty! I would recommend this combo to anyone.I plan on coming back to this spot when I am in the area. Loved the atmosphere, server, food, and overall vibe of this spot. Always glad I dine local and in the places that locals rave about!

In any case, the best thing I had in one was eating. I've never been to the city or near this restaurant. definitiw a 10. the service was super, fast sitting and our food was prepared and delivered in decent time. I would like to thank the bartender dale dell, who forgot the name. I would like to make my drink so special and enjoy me!
