Wild West Home Of Mamma Italia - Eagle

I've been wanting to experience this place for a very long time, and it finally happened! On a very hot day, with extended family (as any good Italian meal requires), we entered and enjoyed each moment. We never felt rushed or ignored. Each bite was delicious. Each dish, homemade. Each smile, authentic. Though the temperature was very warm (not sure if the air conditioning just doesn't work well or it was just unable to keep up with the weather), the family atmosphere and conversation was even warmer. Thanks for the memories. We'll be back!

Last Wednesday a bunch of us, like 12, met for coffee/lunch. Wild West was most accommodating, they set up several tables outside, so that we could all be together. Some of us had pastries and some had lunch. I didn’t hear any complaints. This is when we learned of Italian night. Some of the original group and our husbands had dinner tonight at Wild West’s Italian night. Everything was wonderful from the food to the service. I highly recommend Wild West and their wide variety of menu items. We will be going back for coffee/lunch and dinner. I eat at this place all the time and have never had a bad experience. The staff are friendly and food is good. If you want some authentic Italian make a reservation for Friday or Saturday night, it’s a completely different atmosphere. Great family run business.

This was our second time coming to Wild West Home for their weekend Italian dinner menu and it did not disappoint! The entire experience from the staff to the food truly creates an authentic Italian experience in the heart of Eagle. We ordered meatballs for an appetizer, that are cooked to perfection with a sauce that we literally scraped off of the plate because it was that good! For our main meal we took our waitresses recommendation on the Gnocchi with the salsa Rosa sauce that melted in our mouths. True perfection! We ended with the tiramisu for dessert that was not only picture worthy but again, scrape your plate good. We can’t wait to come back for more. You definitely want to make sure you have a reservation so you can guarantee not missing out on the experience.

With some mates on Saturday night for Eagle Days in the glowing heat, luck for us we stumbled into the Wild West Cafe and it is Killer Terrace. Thanks to Melissa and the cook for the ice cold beer and the great food. We all had their burgers and will definitely be for more. What a great place in downtown Eagle to get some fresh homeade food.
