Sushi Cafe - Denton

Food is always great for good prices. The host/server left quite a bit to be desired. Place was completely empty and they were very terse, efficient but not friendly. Won't stop me from going back, but part of customer service is engaging the customer. Tips reflect that.

I just want to say this place has the best quality fish. Im so sad to go back home because we don't have this high quality fish. I got mean green poke bowl and tried sake! Miranda is a super awesome waitress. Thank all of yall for the wonderful experience the food is absolutely delicious. Vegetarian options: Im sure if you ask polietly to remove certain things from dishes they will do it!

I got the spicy California roll and veggie egg rolls and they were both delicious.

Service was great, shop atmosphere is nice, sushi was great for the price.

Awful to go experience, customer service and food not prepared per menu descriptions, including allergy risks. I am allergic to eggs and therefore can’t have mayo, they don’t tell you on their menu that they put mayo and eel sauce on every sushi roll standard but it’s not on the menu, if I didn’t notice the tint of white under the eel sauce and ask I would have left that place in an ambulance. How unsafe and negligible is that? Who the heck puts sauces on a rainbow roll anyway?? When I spoke to the staff, they basically acted like they didn’t care and to take it up with the “boss” but he isn’t in right now. “I don’t make the menu”…The staff member also wouldn’t give me their real name, but after the third request told me their name was “Jeff”…i am now contacting health services out of concern for other peoples allergies.
