Great cake. I was here when I took my child to the camp. I heard about it, but I didn't come down so often, so I had to try. I have a chicken cake from the hook! Large crust and large filling with exactly the right amount of pepper. Also had an apricot and a chocolate cream... very good. Don't try to drive and eat. Take a few minutes, sit down and enjoy your cake!

Fried Pie Shop is a great place to take a break. This little fried pie shop is an old school treasure. I highly recommend the pecan fried pie or the coconut cream. Their blackberry fried pies are great too. it's definitely worth getting off the highway to try their fried pies.

Great Stop for Desert!. Love the Pecan Pie, Cherry, Apricot, and Vanilla. Ok they are all good. Been there many times. Kiddos love it.

Gooey Good. I stop here while traveling to get something sweet. I have not tried any savory pies yet. I have sampled most of their sweet pies. VERY good, gooey and messy to eat while driving. I stopped in Dallas on the way to Houston with pie all over my shirt and didn't notice until I was getting back into the car. hahah

Great for a quick visit! It's a convenient spot for a fast lunch, especially during off-peak hours. They have some interesting options on the menu, like Spinach Chicken.
