Pizza Antica - Danville

This pizza is great. Amazing crust, best part. Really good sauce, also important. Toppings were so delicious. Done it fast and wanted more. You go easy on the cheese I like personally, but think that's a matter of taste.

Had the margherita pizza with garlic. I liked the thin crust and sauce very much. Much better than typical. Would have liked more basil as there was one leaf per slice. The meatball appetizer was great. Breaded meatballs with a tasty marinara sauce. The calamari was lightly breaded perfectly and served with a mayonnaise sauce which was good but next time I will ask for the marinara sauce with it The cappuccino was very good also, actually excellent. The service was impeccable. The only negatives were the salads. The goat cheese salad was about 90% spinach leaves and had little acroutrements and the chef salad lacked the same variety, being mostly made up of lettuce and little else.

Three of us had lunch there on Sunday, and the place was bustling, but we were seated immediately. Our server, Ryan, was friendly, exceptionally knowledgeable, and very polite. The pizzas we ordered were really good, but I was particularly impressed by the warm brussels sprout salad that the waiter highly recommended. I can't wait to go back and order it again. Thumbs up!

The food and service were outstanding! The management ensured that both the staff and the quality of the food met the highest standards. If anything wasn’t perfect, the manager took it upon himself to make it right!

Excellent service! The server kindly allowed me to sample a beer from a can before making my choice. The pizzas are absolutely delicious. The small pizzas are roughly the size of a plate, so the three of us ordered three small pizzas to try a variety. The restaurant features a full bar, and during brunch, they offer unlimited mimosas! It seems like a fantastic spot for brunch! I can't wait to return and enjoy another meal here!
