フィードバックを提供するI feel I must say something. The waitress we had last night (Andrea) was great. She was kind and attentive. However, the manager was now interested in sitting and talking with his friends than helping people that enter. When we came in henonchalantly eventually came over to see this after finishing his statement with his friends. I didn't find that too off becauseit was late at night, and I'm sure it happens a lot (get interrupted in a story, but that's too be expected). What really upsetme, was a nice older gentleman came into the restaurant to buy a bakery item. Now granted, I realize he is not the big spenderthat the restaurant likes to see, but who knows what he could become. The gentleman's supposed to be working the front desk whois in a tie, white button-up shirt, and spiffy looking, look straight at him and completely ignored him standing there. Theolder gentleman tried to get his attention by smiling and nodding, a wave at him, but nothing. The host then proceeded to sitabout two other parties that came into the restaurant and continued to turn his back on the older gentleman, the second time thehost walked right past the older gentleman. Several waitresses also came around the front area, checked out of their shift, andleft. All the while the stood back up and took care of them and set back down ignoring the older gentleman. Several people alsopaid their bill at the checkout counter and left , again the host completely ignoring the older gentleman. It wasn't until Irequested my server who was attentive to us to please serve the gentleman at the bakery about 15 to 20 minutes after he came in,did he finally got a cherry pie that his daughter had recommended he try (so I overheard). The older gentleman then proceeded tostand at the counter trying to pay for the pie with the host again not attending to his needs whatsoever. The host did get upfor two other people from the restaurant who were paying their bills and dealt with them first even tho
Great local diner!!! Breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Great place to bring any age. Fabulous baked goods to eat in or take home. Nothing fancy but consistently good food is served at all mealtimes!!!
This is a restaurant with history. Look it up, too much to put here. Long driveway(beautiful). We went off-season, needed reservation. Posted menu was reduced so don't pick your meal thinking it'll be available. Prices are high, but staff isefficient and friendly. Interesting to be able to dine in restaurant that was part of history decades ago.
The waitress had no personality. No smile. And was very short with us. My dinner was good it was the steak and lobster. Nice medium rare. My mom's steak was a prime rib cut. It was grey and looked bad. I wouldn't go here for dinner again. Maybebreakfast or lunch. Waitress needs more people skills.
Traditional American diner with a huge sweet's counter. The menue has everything from salads to entree's like roast turkey mashed potatoes and gravy. The French onion soup is good, salty but good. The portion size is standard allowing leftovers. Everytime I've been the parking lot is full but seating is available immediately. The service is always prompt, helpful and friendlymaking sure glasses are full and guests are happy. Highly recommend this family restaurant to everyone that's wants a cup ofcoffee and pie or family gathering on Sunday.
