Surfside Fish'n Chips - Courtenay

I stopped by here while passing through Comox. At 5:30 PM, it was quite busy with a line and several orders being prepared. Despite the crowd, they served me quickly, and my piece of cod was fresh, crispy, and ready in just a few minutes. The price was reasonable at $14. While the wetar sauce wasn't my favorite, I still rated this place five stars because the staff handled some predictable complaints from impatient customers in line with grace. Keep it up!

We had an excellent experience with the fish and chips! Four of us ordered either halibut or cod, and we all agreed it was possibly the best fried fish we've ever had. The fish was perfectly flaky, free of any unpleasant taste, and not at all muddy or soggy. A woman was baking the fish in the back, which added a nice touch. We waited about 15 minutes, as there were four or five people ahead of us, but the Snowbirds air force acrobatic team practiced above, making the wait enjoyable.

Kate serves large fish and chips. from humble beginnings in a small pendant up to now a large pendant. I ordered the two-part healed $25 and a pop $2. the two-part healed comes with koleslaw and fries. the heald fish was juice, fresh and big. the diligent was a bit thicker than any other place, but I still enjoyed it. the tartaric acid sauce was great and I wish they would deliver more of it. I asked for extra sauce and it seems to be an extra cost, but luckily I didn't have to pay. the koleslaw was homemade and tasted great. the fries were okay, but then again I don't like any fries in general lol. cat and their personal offer a great service on a sunny day in the april. eating at the picnic table in the park with views of the water and the mountain in the background was amazing.

Fantastic food truck. Right on the water. There is a children's playground and an area to sit on the dock. Food is awesome. Grilled salmon fries and a hot dog. Salmon was perfect. Great spot for kids, they have juice boxes as well. Recommend for a bite by the water or while the kidshave fun on the playground.
