Locals - Courtenay

We began our meal with mussels served in the most incredible cream sauce we've ever tasted (we suspect there's anise in it). We also ordered a lemon drop martini that was entirely handcrafted with fresh ingredients—absolutely delightful! For our main course, we chose the pasta pescatore, which was loaded with seafood, including candied salmon, shrimp, and mussels, all cooked to perfection in another rich and delicious cream sauce. The flavors were beautifully rich and amazing! We shared a layered chocolate cake and a frozen lemon meringue pie/cake—whatever it was, both desserts were delicious! We visit once a year, and now that we've discovered "Locals," I'm afraid we might not want to go anywhere else! Les (Dilts)
