Wine Cellar - Glynmill Inn

From the time you pull into the parking lot you will be impressed. We were on a bus tour and got in late in the evening and they made sure they kept the dining room open so that we could get food if needed. Ordered clam chowder and French onion soup. Both were very tasty. For breakfast we were offered several great choices. The staff are great, the service is swift and fantastic. I would highly recommend this inn to anyone looking girl a getaway. I would definitely stay here again if we travel thus way again.

Managed to squeak in just before closing after a long day of travel. We were greeted by friendly and inviting staff while being promptly seated. Didn't wait long for drinks and our meals either, which was nice. The environment was quite nice and the menu selection was adequate. Only real complaint would be pricing. Entrees seemed priced to the high side, so we settled on a selection of appetizers and some drinks. My wife didn't care for the thick consistency of her seafood chowder, but we've since realized it's how chowder is done in NFLD (we're used to a more soup based consistency, not the porridge style). Regardless, we enjoyed our meal here.

As a tourist, coming from Europe, I can say the Wine Cellar has the best food I experienced so far in Corner Brook and the surrounding. The staff was very friendly and attentive, the food looked and tasted very delicious.

Service pleasant but not well trained especially with regard to wine service. Duck poor quality. Fatty. Cod overcooked and excess butter. Salmon greasy. Not up to snuff.
