Village Idiot Pizza - Columbia

The pizza was dry and lacking in cheese. When I mentioned this to the manager, he claimed that the cheese was supposed to be on the cardboard under the pizza. I won't be returning to this place again; this is the second time I’ve had a terrible experience with their pizza. Additionally, the employees often use their phones and touch their bodies while preparing food, which is very unprofessional.

The management and staff are incredibly warm and friendly. The pizza is absolutely delicious. This establishment runs very smoothly! I highly recommend it—it's the best pizza in Colombia.

The food was excellent, and our server was fantastic. However, the manager—if that's what she really was—put on quite a show in front of our table of seven. Someone needed a chair, and she initially said it was fine to use a bar stool at the end of the table. Then, to our surprise, she stood in front of the guest in the bar chair and emotionally berated him about it being a fire hazard. It was quite unnecessary. Later, when she brought us our order, she spoke to us in a rude tone, demanding that we make space. She actually said, "There’s stuff in the way, it’s moving." She could have just set it down herself. I’ve never had such an experience in any restaurant before. It makes me wonder about her role—perhaps we should reconsider whether she’s right for the job, as her behavior did not seem to align with good service.

Pleasantly surprised this was a very good pizza that we did not expect in view of our past experiences in the region. we stayed at the foundations and everyone was happy. The staff was extremely polite and the order was timely, even on what was obviously a very busy and hectic night.

Response to owner: You got a 1-star review because we paid over $35 for two 12-inch pizzas. You delivered one of the pizzas with the wrong toppings. When we contacted your store about this, you told us to request a refund from Grubhub. Grubhub didn't make the mistake....you did. They delivered the pizza that you made with the wrong toppings. The owner hung up on us mid-conversation and never called back. We didn't receive the food that we ordered and we got horrible customer service. We will never order from this location again and I will be strongly advise all of my friends to stay away.
