San Jose Mexicano - Columbia

The atmosphere could use some updates however nothing drastically different from most Mexican restaurants. The services was very good, our waiter was super attentive and proactive. The food was good. We'll definitely be going back.

It wasn't a particularly good experience. The food was decent, but the service left much to be desired. Despite my detailed explanation of my order, they managed to get it wrong. Most of the staff seemed distracted, often on their phones, which meant I had to get up from my seat to ask for refills and more chips. While the food was passable, it didn’t stand out, and the prices were a bit higher than other Mexican restaurants nearby. I might consider returning someday, but I’ll likely prioritize other options first.

Food is always excellent, and it's a family kinda feel-they don't have a high turnover rate as far as their employees go, so it's nice to go someplace that you're familiar to your server and vice versa. Vegetarian options: They have a large selection for vegetarians, It's an entire page from top to bottom. Pretty much all the meals have a vegetarian option-which is not very common. Parking: There is a very large parking lot with plenty of access for handicapped, large vehicles, you name it. You can pull in to the restaurant from the piney Grove side or the frontage rd side-and I've never seen the parking lot crowded, or had to park uncomfortably close to another vehicle for lack of space. Kid-friendliness: Absolutely kid friendly. It's a great place for the whole family, and they have a great candy selection for after your meal, and the awesome gumball and toy machines kids love-i think they Also have the little crayon packs with coloring pages for kids, but don't quote me on that. Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of access for wheelchairs-from the entrance, to the seating, to the bathroom-everything seemed to be made with special considerations s for handicapped customers.

They make the best bean and cheese burritos and I come here just about everyday on my lunch break. Service is fast and friendly. I definitely recommend.

Pollo Loco and taquitos were delicious, salsa was good, but the chips were stale/hard. Service seemed off for a Saturday night and no crowd. Willing to go back and give another chance.
