Seafood Kitchen - Chesapeake

I was incredibly impressed! The restaurant has a lovely appearance—it's clean, well-organized, and has a warm atmosphere. This was my first time visiting this location, and I placed my order, which arrived promptly. The smell of the food was fantastic, and once I finally got to taste it, it exceeded my expectations. I even sent my son back for a second plate to enjoy tomorrow, and my brother also decided to place an order. I will definitely be returning to sample more dishes from the menu!

I ordered takeout of the Coconut Shrimp platter and a Crab Cake, but unfortunately, everything was burnt—the Coconut Shrimp, hush puppies, and crab cake. On top of that, the fountain drinks tasted strange, probably because the nozzles were dirty. Overall, I feel like I wasted $27 and won't be returning.

Cooking fish can be a bit of a hassle, and it tends to leave a greasy smell in the house. It might be easier to just pick up some fish and call it a night. Overall, I'd rate the food a 4 out of 5.

What a wonderful experience! The portions here are quite generous, and the service is top-notch. I'm definitely looking forward to coming back. This place is truly a hidden gem. We happened to stop by on a whim, craving some fried fish, and I couldn’t be happier that we chose Seafood Kitchen. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth. The service was outstanding. I ordered the shrimp and grouper basket, and it was absolutely fantastic. I accidentally ordered the large size, which turned out to be more food than I could handle! The grouper was tender and fried to perfection, making for a thoroughly satisfying meal.

I've dined here twice, and I really enjoy their fried shrimp, although I wish they were a bit less salty for my taste. The collard greens are also fantastic. One of the things I appreciate is the ability to create my own plate, as I don't drink soda and prefer to avoid hush puppies and French fries due to the carbs. For those seeking vegetarian options, the collard greens are delicious and made without pork.
