Harwood Gold Cafe - Charlevoix

Harwood Gold is my favorite place in downtown Charlevoix to meet and catch friends. Your coffee, offered by Long Day Coffee, is the best in town and so a wonderful accompaniment to their fresh bakery. The staff is friendly and helpful and very competent, especially with an espresso drink. Your meat cakes are delicious and unique, and I love the convenience of the new grab and go packs and salads. All they do is carefully thought out and prepared. The maple products are certainly their brand. It is so nice to see a family business that perfectes these recipes for over 5 generations. I love her syrups, sauces and my favorite, “Nuts About Cherry” mix, with newcomers of our beautiful city. It is definitely a must for anyone visiting Charlevoix.

I can't think of a place I prefer for a coffee, a snack, a pick-n-go menu or a sit-down menu! What Amber and her team did at Harwood Gold is nothing less amazing. The atmosphere is great, the service is top notch and the food and drinks are amazing. Make yourself a favor and check this place if you don't.

This is a must on the list when you come to Charlevoix!!! Homemade jams, croissants, maple sriracha, maple bbq... the list goes on and everything is better than the next. Thanks to the great employees and owners for our visit so great, we will be back for more syrup!!

Parson's Farm and (Harwood Gold Maple Syrup had the best appetizers (full meal) and desserts I've ever had! My mouth still pours from her desserts. On taste the presentation was exquisite! I highly recommend it for your next event. Try her Bourbon barrel aged maple syrup! Heavenly.

Your Lamb Shank Redemption sandwich incorporates the most incredible combination of rich flavors. I cried bitterly when I realized it was not a permanent fixture on your menu. Will shameless begging encourage your talented chef to bring this delight back?
