Mr. Lester's Steakhouse - Charenton

I have been to this restaurant twice. The first time I ordered the 18 ounce New York strip $69) with baked potato $10) and the second time I ordered the 10 ounce blackened tuna $35) with grilled asparagus $13). Both meals were cooked perfectly and the taste was excellent. I love the food here. It it a bit pricey but if you are looking to impress someone or just have a great meal in a fancy environment, this is a great place to go.

I ordered the salmon and it was cooked to perfection! Everything we got was delicious. Also had a martini. The waiter was very quick to refill our drinks when needed and was able to answer all our questions on the menu. Dessert was amazing and several options! Pricey dinner but worth it.

Excellent steakhouse! the garlic-mash potatoes are my favorite side dish. everything is fresh, including a lot of freshly baked bread. the caramel cheesecake is my favorite dessert. their steaks are better than many expensive steak houses I visited. they are expensive, but it is worth it.

Very average, steak was ok, not much flavor, over cooked. Nice atmosphere but food quality has gone way down and not worth the price anymore. I use to really enjoy this place.

It was awful. $250 for a steak, fish plate, a beer and 2 sides. They sat us in a smoking section, when we reserved the family room. The steak was overly salty and all fat. Out of 12 oz, 4oz was actual meat.The fish was dry. The grits were bland. The au graitin was so greasy. They kept taking food we were still eating away from my wife. We brought this up to our server and was just told that's how it was. Over priced. Service was just okay. For our first time, it will also be our last.
