フィードバックを提供するI had an incredible experience at the restaurant. In my previous visits, Carolyn was the manager, and this time we were seated with a view of the kitchen's prep area. We ordered a Corn Carb Bisque, a Classic Caesar salad, Chateaubriand, Twice Baked Potatoes, Lyonnaise Potatoes, and Grilled Asparagus with Hollandaise sauce. We received a complimentary basket of bread served with three varieties of butter, and for dessert, we enjoyed the brown bottom chocolate cake, which unfortunately spiked my blood sugar above 200. As a lovely gesture, we were given complimentary chocolate-covered strawberries, red velvet cake squares, and pralines with our check. The sweet tea was plentiful, and we didn’t have to worry about half-full glasses. Our total came to $200, including tip, for a Friday night dinner at 5 PM. It's worth noting that no children are allowed, as the restaurant is located inside Cypress Bayou Casino, which also features a piano bar. During the hour we spent there, the dining area never exceeded 20% capacity. I suspect this may be due to the casino's low traffic, even on weekends, which seemed to be at only about 5% capacity. The parking lot next to the casino was likewise only 10% full. There seems to be something seriously wrong with the casino's business.
I have been to this restaurant twice. The first time I ordered the 18 ounce New York strip $69) with baked potato $10) and the second time I ordered the 10 ounce blackened tuna $35) with grilled asparagus $13). Both meals were cooked perfectly and thetaste was excellent. I love the food here. It it a bit pricey but if you are looking to impress someone or just have a greatmeal in a fancy environment, this is a great place to go.
The Chateaubriand for two was absolutely outstanding! The four-cheese potatoes were fantastic, and the marinated vegetables were also delightful!
This is an outstanding steakhouse! My favorite side dish is the garlic mashed potatoes. Everything here is fresh, including a diverse selection of freshly baked breads. The caramel cheesecake is my favorite dessert. Their steaks surpass those of many higher-priced steakhouses I've been to. While it can be pricey, it's definitely worth it.
Good afternoon, I have been a customer/client of Mr. Lester 's for approximately 16-17 years. Let me start with their (dress code) which is business casual or business. Also, Mr. Lester 's is expensive and their menu is a ' la carte. However, continuereading and you will understand why and why it 's worth the additional cost. Besides the (very rare exceptions) the food isfantastic, the service is second to none, and the atmosphere is also amazing! I mentioned (very rare exceptions) and want toexpand. In the many years my family, friends, clients, and I have been dinning at Mr. Lester 's there has only been a coupletimes we had issues with our food. However, I want to make clear, we were contacted a few days later from the Chief directlyand the matter was discussed. The matter was rectified and we were offered a private dinner as guests of the Chief as well asmeals compted. I simply explain so that no one has any worries about giving this fabulous restaurant a try, I can promise youwon 't be disappointed, and likely dinning at Mr. Lester 's will become a part of your dinning through the year either justbecause or reserved for special occasions i.e. anniversaries, B-days, holidays, etc. Also, the service you will receive will begreat so please keep that in mind when it comes time to pay your bill and have the opportunity to (tip your servers), theydeserve it.
