Roses 'n Things Van Park - Cedar Vale

Stayed at the Roses 'n Things Caravan Park and found it to be excellent. Jason greeted us warmly on arrival. Facilities very neat and clean with some lovely touches. Also had coffee and lunch at the Tea Garden and found that terrific. Great coffee served in beautiful cups and tasty lunch!

The coffee was delicious, breakfast was enjoyable, and the service was friendly in a stunning garden setting. It was a pleasant surprise to find a place that was so well-maintained.

I was pleasantly surprised to discover this hidden gem. The coffee served in a large colorful mug was excellent, and I thoroughly enjoyed the Turkish bread BLT that was cooked perfectly. The menu, while on the smaller side, offers a variety of options. The service was great as well. If you are in town, I highly recommend stopping by this restaurant - it's definitely worth a visit.

I attempted to secure a camping spot at this location last year in July but since they only have 10 sites, they were all booked. This time around, I made sure to book early and I must say, it exceeded our expectations. Jason, the owner, warmly welcomed us and made sure we were satisfied with our site. We intentionally arrived by 1pm as the cafe, run by his wife Lisa, closes at 2pm. The cafe is open Wednesday to Sunday from 9 am to 2 pm and is definitely worth a visit. The beautiful garden setting was lovely and the lunch was delicious. The facilities were very clean and the atmosphere was peaceful. The horse in the paddock next to us was friendly and I was glad to have a carrot on hand to greet him. I highly recommend Roses n' Things and my opinion of Barcaldine has definitely improved compared to our previous visit in July '22. We will definitely be returning!

Stayed at this small park for a night and WOW what a wonderful place. The amenities were excellent and spotless. The owner, Jason, was great to deal with, he met us at the gate and asked which site we wanted and then directed us into the spot. He then texted me the tourist places around town. Couldn't have been more helpful.
