Country Girl Saloon - Castaic

I stopped at this restaurant on my way to Southern California. It was a great experience and exactly what we were looking for in a fun, casual bar. The shots were generously poured and the bartender was friendly. I will definitely be returning the next time I'm in town.

I was traveling in Castaic and was feeling thirsty, so I decided to check out a local spot called Country Girl Saloon that I found on Yelp. It was conveniently close to the RV park and I absolutely loved it! The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, not pretentious at all. I also wanted to grab some food at a local diner, but the bartender (who was fantastic, but unfortunately I forgot her name) informed me that the diner closed at 2pm. However, she kindly suggested that I could buy food and bring it back to the bar to eat. I thought that was a great idea, so that's exactly what I did. The bartender made delicious homemade shooters, provided excellent service, and even closed the doors when I mentioned that I was cold. I was treated like a friend and had a fantastic experience. I highly recommend this place and will definitely return if I'm in the area again.

I had a fantastic experience at this bar! Lindsay is by far the best bartender I have ever encountered. Plus, they are open on Christmas day as well.

The woman working the night shift at the restaurant checked our identification multiple times and rejected some of them. We returned several times to show her different IDs, but she ultimately refused to serve us and told us to leave. She displayed clear racism towards us. Because of this discriminatory treatment, I now have a negative opinion of this place.

Stayed at the hotel next to this Saloon. They have pool tables a digital juke box and an amazingly sweet and attentive bartender named Candice. It shares a parking lot with a truck stop. This local bar is awesome! Homely and awesome! Highly recommend if you love small town, rough language, and a home town feel! 10/10
