Fosters Freeze - Castaic

Only ordered fries and onion rings. The onion rings were over cooked, after 3 of them, I had to stop eating them. The fries were okay, overall, I wouldn't come back.

The customer service at this Foster Freeze was excellent! I stopped by while on a road trip to Disneyland. Although it was a little hard to hear the drive-thru attendant, they made sure to confirm our order at the window, so we received exactly what we wanted. I highly recommend making a stop here.

I have visited this restaurant about five times now, and what keeps me coming back is the amazing soft serve ice cream. It is the best soft serve I have ever had, with a perfect texture and delicious subtle flavor. I have also tried their seasoned crinkle cut fries, which are always hot and fresh. The restaurant itself is quite outdated, with faded signs and menus that make it look closed from the outside. Unfortunately, dining in is not an option as they only offer food through the drive-through. The restaurant is run by a sweet and gracious older couple, who are always friendly when I visit. It seems like they are running the whole operation by themselves, and I hope their business is doing well.

The root beer freezes at this restaurant are delicious, but I have been waiting in the drive-thru line for 30 minutes! It seems like they only have one worker and the drive-thru is the only option. The doors are locked.

There is no indoor seating available, but my ice cream was delicious. The only option is drive-thru service.
