Saks Grill - Boone

This is an absolute must try if you are in Boone. My son and I come to Boone a few times a year and I stop here for breakfast at least once every trip. The breakfast sandwiches are delicious and the staff is so friendly. I had the sausage, egg, and cheese croissant, which was cooked perfectly. I’ve had several other breakfast sammies as well as over easy eggs, bacon, and hashbrowns. All have been great! I’m looking forward to trying some lunch items next time. Who doesn’t love supporting a long time local small business?

I had the spicy chicken sandwich with fries and a drink. It was fresh and delicious. Even better with ranch. Easy to order, no wait. One of the best restaurants around.

We ended up at this restaurant after being told to wait an hour at Sunshine Grill, and we are so glad we did! The service was friendly and the food was absolutely amazing. Despite being located in a convenience store, don't let that fool you - the menu is extensive and the dishes are delicious, all at reasonable prices. There is also a comfortable dining area. I never write reviews. But I got the breakfast sandwhich, and it was the stalest, blandest, thing I've had to choke down in a while. It was rough. And what makes it worst is that the place was empty, there was no rush. They just didn't care. They made a terrible sandwhich and were totally okay with it.
