Macado's - Boone

It’s been about 14 years since I frequented Macado’s back as an AppState student. Stopped in and was surprised to see it renovated! Got a great happy hour deals on pint mug margaritas and tacos. My fiancé also got a burger and thought it was really good. Service was great and quick despite the bar person being the only one managing the bar and the bar side of the restaurant. Really good spot for a wideeee variety of sandwiches and beer. A go-to 14 years ago and a go-to now. Wish we had had room for the infamous cinnamon roll!

My husband and I love coming here. We have been coming here for over 30 years. We love how they kept the same feel from our college days through the renovations. Mike Bosse has always been a great manager and has put a lot into this. We had the pleasure of meeting Austin and Ben today! Excellent service!! Very clean. We had the Jamaican Jerk Wings and Thai Chili with hot sauce and fries. Ben had more tables come in but killed it. Enjoy the photos! See you soon!

Our waitress was super great. Best manners, polite, experienced, and friendly. She had to leave before we finished the meal, but thanks to both our servers. Macado's is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy a great meal. Awesome menu choices.

After touring Appalachian State University, we were hungry. Saw Macado's downtown, and decided to have lunch before headed on the road for our five hour drive. The food was delicious!!! The waiter was very kind. Sat us near one of their TV screens as we watched Rugby. The atmosphere was pleasant and the restaurant was clean. When we visit again, we'll make sure to stop by for lunch
