The duck breast was a special and probably the most risky choice for the casual tourist diner. It was extraordinary! Festival selection of wines by region. The cocktails we chose were too sweet for our taste. Dinner music was boring, and I would normally never notice that. Still all were enthusiastic and polite. Very recommended as a crowd gift for every taste.
Young Hostess was a little slow. But the food and the ambience were amazing.
The food was good, albeit a little pricey. I had eaten a boneless quail years ago and loved it. I saw a menu online that showed elk and duck. Was hoping for one of the two items. Pork tenderloin was what I ended up eating. It was good, wife got grouper and liked it. Britt made our visit welcoming, she was professional and efficient. I will try again when elk, duck, quail etc is on the menu when I am back in town.
Great food.friendly accommodating staff. Everything you want in a great dining experience. Thanks.
The setting at Chetola Lodge is stunning. I found it very easy to make a reservation through Google. The service was excellent, and there was an impressive variety of drinks and dishes to choose from. Our food was cooked and prepared flawlessly. They also have a lovely patio with a fire pit that overlooks the lake, making for a picturesque experience. It's conveniently located near Blowing Rock and Boone. When we visited, there were musicians performing in the lobby, although I'm not sure how frequently this occurs. It really enhanced the overall atmosphere.
