Boon Burger Cafe - Barrie

The buffalo sandwich at this restaurant is absolutely delicious, served with crispy potato fries or a salad. It is flavorful and easy to eat, plus it won't leave you feeling bloated since it's vegan. Highly recommended. The staff is friendly and professional, and there is a lovely bench near the window.

Nice staff to eat as you wait. Good selection of options. Only what I avoid are the frits that are soggy and undercooked for some reason. Burger, Pizza, Salate, philly cheeze steaks all excellent.

There are so many choices! I have never been to a vegan restaurant that offers such a wide variety of delicious options on their menu...even milkshakes! The milkshakes were fantastic and the food did not disappoint.

I remember when this restaurant used to be a Boon Burger, but it's just as good as Valiant's Eatery! I make a habit every time I visit family to eat in this restaurant. I ordered a holiday meal in 2019 and my family was jealous of my meal! I always interact with the owner who reminded me of the previous year! If only Covid did not happen, otherwise I would get up to visit my family and order the takeover of my favorite vegan place in the region!

I will never go back to this restaurant again! It's not worth your time or money. I pre-ordered holiday meals, a charcuterie tray, and other items totaling almost $200. I did not receive a confirmation with the total, so I called and was told it would be ready for pickup anytime during their business hours. When I arrived to pick it up, I ended up waiting over an hour! It was ridiculous. If my family wasn't already waiting for the meal, I would have asked for a refund and left. They tried to make up for it by offering free desserts, but the lack of explanation for the long wait was disappointing. The only decent part of the meal was the charcuterie tray; the rest was cold and either bland or overly garlicky. Poor communication, awful customer service, and subpar food. Don't waste your time or money here.
