Chef Tyler combines country cooking with French undertones for breakfast. My only problem was being on the second floor because of a recent knee replacement. But I reserved the last room in the main house and that is what was available. Someone in a review mentioned some noise and other issues. This house is 200 years old. It is well maintained but THIS house is 200 years old. If “old” house is not your thing, stay in a Holiday Inn. Owners Todd and Tyler have a true gem in hostess Stephanie. From checking guests in to keeping cocktails in front of everyone to making or changing dinner reservations, she does it all. She ran her legs off the two nights we were there. A smile never left her face as she accommodated each and every request. Please remember to tip her well. And we’ve already booked our next visit and are bringing two additional couples.
Where do I start on this amazing B&B! I love staying at unique and fun places and this place exceeded my expectations. There is nothing negative about my experience. It was perfection in every way. There is no detail left untouched. From the quality of service and food, to the bedding, towels and decor of the home. The service from the staff was impeccable and catered to your every need. The home is beautifully decorated and picture perfect in every way. We stayed in a gorgeous 3 bed room since I was staying with a few girlfriends. The room was beautifully decorated. Beds were comfortable and we absolutely loved the bedding! It kept us comfortable and warm. The room provided bath robes, games and plenty of toiletries. We LOVED the Turkish towels and wash clothes! So much so, that we googled and ordered a few! Let’s talk about breakfast; AMAZING! Best breakfast! Bourbon maple glazed sausage, potatoes, eggs in a basket, apple fritter and my mouth is watering just typing this! The owners absolutely know how to run a B&B and it shows! The B&B is also close proximity to the KY Dinner Train and down the road from downtown Bardstown. I will define back and promote this business as much as I can.
I was fortunate to stay at the Bourbon Manor Bed and Breakfast for business and can’t wait to visit again for a romantic getaway with my husband! The historic property is beautiful and unique. The staff was welcoming and warm. I loved my cozy guest room—I slept so well in the big, comfortable bed. Breakfast in the morning was an absolute treat! I can’t wait to visit again and explore the nearby bourbon distilleries and historic attractions. Thank you for the hospitality!
We loved every second of our time spent at the Bourbon Manor! The building itself is so beautiful, and we loved learning more about it and the area. My husband and I stayed in the Mint Julep room and absolutely loved it. The bed is so comfortable, and I enjoyed a fantastic soak in the tub.My husband enjoyed Stephanie's Old Fashioned and said it was one of the best he's had so fantastic to have a bourbon experience right there on site! We also took a tour of the Heaven Hill Distillery as recommended by Todd, and ate dinner at the newer Toogie's Table in Bardstown, which was delicious. The location of Bourbon Manor is fantastic and the amenities make this THE place to stay in town. Breakfast in the morning was absolutely fantastic one of the best we've ever had at a B B! And the hospitality was simply beyond excellent if I could give this place and Todd Staff a 12/10, we would. HIGHLY recommend!
The Old Fashioned Room was classic, elegant, and cozy! Todd was the perfect host and offered tons of great recommendations and even made our dinner reservation. To top off the stay, the owners prepared the most delicious breakfast. Would recommend over and over!Rooms: 5/5
