フィードバックを提供するWe wanted to give this place a chance due to the mixed reviews some were 5 stars and raving, and others were horrible. Let me just tell you, do NOT waste your time.It is a bit difficult to locate the entrance, as it is not well marked and not visible from the ground when you walk up, but luckily we saw this on the reviews ahead of time and were prepared to search a bit.We called hours ahead and made a reservation, and then when we arrived it was utter chaos and disorganization. Guests were crammed into the entryway waiting at the host stand, while 2 hostesses came and went multiple times without acknowledging people or saying really anything. We had an 8:15 reservation, arrived early, and didn’t get seated until about 8:45. There was no communication except for the initial “we’re getting your table ready” when we first checked in.We should have trusted the bad reviews when it came to the food. The quality does not match the price AT ALL. I ordered the ravioli with Italian sausage, and was given rock hard over cooked pieces of sausage in unappealing clumps on top of clearly store bought tomato sauce and lackluster raviolis. My fiancé ordered the ribeye, which was cooked medium to his request, but seemed like a store bought steak and wasn’t very impressive. The Brussels sprouts were good.Very disappointed and upset at the price we paid for one star food at best.
This was a total miss for us and it came highly recommended. It was not easy to find the front entrance as it 's tucked under the stairs if the main building entrance. Once inside it is dank and dark.We were seated immediately and the hostess was kind. The waitress was abrupt, not very nice, and would disappear for large pockets of time. She was cocky about the bourbon selection we have everything yet it was a miss on the first 3 we requested. We ordered appetizers that were ok at best and not worth the price.Presentation was lack luster and food was fair. Blackened steak tips were overcooked and chewy. Shrimp cocktail was basic and the warm brie salad was served like from a diner. We decided to leave and get dinner elsewhere. Would not recommend.
Best restaurant I've been to in years. Best service, staff, atmosphere, and food. We almost couldn't find it, a must if you are on the bourbon trail. Their elevation of routine dishes is a breath of fresh air. I wish we had one in Texas.
Chose this restaurant for dinner with friends. Such a unique setting and the food was excellent. Enjoyed the Shrimp and Grits and the Bourbon Blueberry Glazed Salmon. Great drinks recommended by our waiter, Jay. Especially the Bourbon Blueberry Smash. Everything exceeded our expectations. Only suggestion would be better outside signage for us tourists. We walked the entire property before finding the entrance to the basement restaurant.
First, they seated another couple for our reservation. When we finally got seated, the waiter took forever to get to our table. We ordered and when our food came, the wrong sides were brought with our entree. The food was not anything great. I would not eat there again.
