Bluewater Avalon Seafood

We were on the island celebrating a friend's birthday that day. The outdoor patio area was nice. Server was great and the food were delicious, along with the drinks. We had the oyster shooters, Ponzu Sashimi Sea Scallops, a dozen of oysters, seabass, shrimp and chicken gumbo, and Gemelli Pasta with Shrimp Sea Scallops. The Sashimi was our favorite. I believe we had two orders of these. Definitely recommend to try out this place. The only thing we weren't a big fan of is the oysters. Although, they were delicious, but they were bigger than we imagined.

Loved this place! We ordered steamed clams, oysters, fried calamari, artichoke dips, poke, broccolini, prawn cocktail, oyster shooter (beer one was bomb) and buffalo jug. Everything had so much flavor and we all enjoyed. William was a great server, very nice and friendly, made our dinner a pleasant experience!

The oysters on the half shell here are so good! Not super impressed with the oyster shooter however. Everything we got was well portioned and complimented the entrée. The overall favorite was the Mahi-Mahi and fish and chips. Forgettables for us were the ceviche and cioppino. They were just a little bland. I plan on trying everything on the menu at some point, so we will be returning. Plus you can't beat the atmosphere being right on the water!

Fine dining experience on Catalina island! Everything was fresh and location is right on the water where you can enjoy the sights and sounds. I will be back next time I’m on the island.

Wow! Love the food and the view! The complimentary sourdough bread was sooo good. Bothe of the dishes we ordered were also tasty. Service was super quick and accomidating. Would highly recommend if you are on catalina island.
