Ray's Smokehouse Bbq - Augusta

Visited Augusta, GA for the first time over the weekend my husband and I. We were headed back to NC late Saturday and decided to stop by Ray's for my husband to grab some lunch after a disappointing breakfast. At first glance of the building it was deceiving of the delicious food that awaits you on the inside. He went in and came back to the truck with his food. Opened it and it looked amazing. He allowed me, lol to taste his ribs which was so tender and delicious and I got a little carried away with his food that it led me into Ray's to order my own. Try It! You will enjoy it as we did. Rib Plate with ribs, mac/cheese/green beans/ Texas toast. Yum, Yum..

Very clean...small dining area but quaint.Very nice owner...Impressed w/barbque..Will definitely be back...Price reasonable

Slow waited over 40 minutes for a pork sandwich and 2 sides

I love this place, it gives you the feel of Ga barbecue, nothing fancy but the food is beyond excellent

Best bbq probably in AMERICA ,could use ac inside ,but the bbq is worth is weight in gold ,best soul food.other worldly, THANK GOD
