The Split Crow - Antigonish

This restaurant is now closed .. and building is for sale ... great location but a number of business in the building over that last number of years have not been able to make a go of it..

I had the burger with cheese and bacon and fries. The food was good, our server was nice, no complaints :)

Excellent food, fantastic and quick service. I highly recommend this place. A good selection of beer and hard spirits on tap and bottled

From chevys roots to chuggles chinese ...this euro inspired building is now host to a gaggle of s__t crow...waiters and waitress hostage to management whom contractually siphon meagre tips...food is average and uninspired with toothpicks wedged in food destined for patron windpipes...

Me and my wife were in town and we were so sick of tim Horton ham and Swiss sandwiches and decided to spoil ourselves and check out the split crow. I was in the mood for fish and chips and my wife wanted a salad(New Years resolutions...sigh...) and it was actually the bartender/server who went by "mandycakes" who convinced us we should try the split pea soup. DE-LI-CIOUS. If you are anywhere in North America I suggest you take the trek down to Antigonish and try there split pea soup. Unreal. Anyways, it wasn't even the food that was the best part of the meal, it was the service! Mandycakes was on the ball and did everything in unique style. When she poured our beer she would juggle all the full pints with one hand and not spill one drop! It's like nothing I've ever seen before. And when it was almost time to leave she said we had to try the special split crow shot! She jumped onto the bar rail and preformed the splits while "cawing" like a crow! My wife and I were in tears, which I don't think Mandycakes enjoyed as I think she was trying to be sexy about it. Oh well! I'm actually thinking about moving here just so I can eat her on a daily basis. It's that good. 10/10
