The old trifterklause schwellhäusl is now located in the national park Bavarian forest. the former accommodation for the woodjacks has preserved their charm and impresses with a traditional and cozy furnishings.The shwellhäusl is only accessible by the line bus, bike or foot. still it is very well visited in summer and at the celebrations. so far we still have a place to find.The service is attentive and fast, even if it is big. We had never had longer waiting times.The midday card with hot dips (11 to 13:30 o'clock) as well as the brooding card with cold dips (from 13:30 o'clock) offer a variety of regional specialities.Originell is also the beer from the stoa, which is tapped laterally of the house from the rocks in the summer. There is a large playground for children and a small one, so that everyone is taken care of.Everything in all is the visit of the schwellhäusl a must-see on holiday in the Bavarian forest.

The longer (ab eisenstein) or short (ab zwiesler waldhaus) hike to the schwellhäusl is one must. you sit in the beer garden at the water or in the cozy dining room and have daily until 18.00 the choice between warm and cold, or cakes and torts. a highlight is it for us when freshly baked scratches are offered. so easy and delicious. for the little ones there is a playground and a animal enclosure with donkey, pony, goat and pee. and also people who are no longer so fit can come to the restaurant on the morning with the bus and return after a few hours.

A visit in the shwelling shrub is always worth when you are in the Bavarian forest before you are. a cozy walk to the local for everyone walks away every guest is to return as a reward .ob lunch table or after that the small card has something parat for everyone to stay. whether carving, dishing, obatzder or rhubarb cakes all deliciously prepared. as a speciality, there is the steam beer which you should have tried, but also a johannisschorle or wein is recommended. the nice ladies have served and courtesy and thanks to the good kitchen!

From zwieselerwaldhaus several hiking trails lead to this cottage located in the middle of the forest.The main road is easy to walk up to two small ascents and also with children's cars etc. there are enough parking spaces available so that you don't have to walk too far (about 1/2 hour).The cottage was very well filled at our arrival, but as it is in bayern we still got quite fast a place at the table.No long waiting times, plentiful portions, good eating. more you can't say.
