Ridgewood Bay Resort - Zimmerman

Ridgewood Bay is amazing after the renovation! We've visited three times in the past month, and the food has been excellent, the service prompt, and the interior and exterior of the building look beautiful. Don't let the old reviews from 6-7 years ago deter you—this place has significantly improved!

I’m giving this place 4 stars for its amazing location right on the water's edge! The cocktails were great, and while there is no regular food service, the fish tacos from the food truck were delicious. However, the hours are unfortunately erratic and not very convenient. The food truck isn’t always open, which is a real drawback. Come on, owners—please get this place fully operational with consistent hours! I was really disappointed to make the trip from St. Francis only to find it closed!

A great lakeside bar with a fun atmosphere! They offer only outdoor seating and don't have their own food menu, but there’s usually a food truck on-site. The drink prices are very reasonable, and it’s a popular spot with plenty of regulars.

Visited on a Thursday 6/4. I messaged ahead to make reservations for 4:30 and we got right in. The main server was training 2 other gals, which was a little awkward but they got the job done. We were seated near the photo op, right next to the lake. We had a nice view and relaxed for about an hour. Ordered a couple drinks from the server and helped ourselves to the food truck (must walk up and order yourself). I think it's a great setup, and the food from Come Get It BBQ was AWESOME. The pulled portal was moist and the creamed corn was the best I've ever had. We lost some at pull tabs, but other than that, it was a great experience! We'll be back!

We sat at a table for 35 minutes before being approached by a waitress. We made eye contact with her multiple times and she new we were there but she didn't bother to come over to us and sat goofing around with a lot of the other customers. 35 minutes later she finally came over and got us our drinks and put our order in but we were about ready to leave because we were getting sick of waiting. On the plus they have a very cool patio on the back of the bar right on the lake but just don't expect great service. If the owners of the bar were smart they would do better training or hire new servers. Everything else about this bar is great but after reading more reviews a lot of people complain about there service and waitresses.
