The air conditioning was a great plus! the same great food and service as its sister restaurant next door. the whole food was fresh and very tasty. service was great!
I had eaten some paints here in the april when I visited zirhautenejo, but had not been there with my wife. so we went on this trip in juli and were not disappointed. we were greeted both by the cook and by the maitre d. juli is...off season, and we were the only ones there, that changed in the evening when several customers arrived. the restaurant is relatiw small, but beautifully decorated. the celler has a glass partition so that they get the ambiente of cava. for dinner we shared a fish-kwitsche, which was delicious with the right amount of tarty. then followed tuna with mango salsa (we had both the same court). there were large portions of medium-sized rare thunfish, accompanied by sweets and cartomas on a basis of mango salsa sauce. it was mouthwater. (I would have replaced kartoffel with risotto, but the kartoffels were also creamy and good). the meal was delicious and we go back in a few days with friends. I recommend cava de bandidos.
We eat here every trip to zihua in the first night we get there, they have good food. we have even planned our next meal there, but the service was less than stellar, so we did not go back a second time.
I had eaten here a couple of times in April when visiting Zihautenejo but had not been there with my wife. So we went on this trip in July and were not disappointed. This was followed by Tuna with mango salsa (we both had the same dish). There were 2 large portions of medium rare tuna, accompanied by veggies and mashed potatoes on a base of mango salsa sauce. It was mouth watering. (I would have substituted mashed potatoes with risotto, but the potatoes were creamy and good too). The meal was delicious and we are going back in a couple of days with friends. I highly recommend Cava De Bandidos.
