This place never disappoints. Always good. Always amazing. Service is great. I was just telling my husband how I wish we had a place like this back at home (Bay Area California)

One of my favorite places to eat in Oregon. Small joint, and always packed. Service is great and every so often Beppe is around to check up on you. He also has some great suggestions for the wine. For appetizers we had the garlic and cheese dip. Maybe the best appetizer on the menu. We also ordered the meat and cheese board which was not bad For dinner I had the shrimp and scallop pasta. Very good! Flavor of the sauce was amazing and the seafood was cooked to perfection. Dessert we ordered the chocolate pudding deal. The caramel and salt on top gave it a good finish. I am not a big chocolate guy but not bad. My favorite was the dessert that is Beppe's mom's recipe. Basically a cannoli cake. Overall very good dinner. Strongly suggest to stop in this joint when you get to Eugene!

We arrived at Beppe and Gianni 's and were told 45 minutes to be seated. We waited for an hour and a half. Two groups were seated ahead of us. The leader of one of the two groups was wearing a baseball hat with an American flag and told his group that he would take care of them. They were immediately seated, well ahead of us. The one item I wanted was sold out. This has happened in the past. The carbonara I got had very little flavor, and the dark chocolate desert tasted like it came from a premade pudding cup. Our server was nice and quick. I remained positive because it was my friend 's 70th birthday, but I will never go back. I swore it off a decade ago for similar reasons, but I thought I would give it another chance. What a mistake. It seems like certain people are given preferential treatment over the general public. Not cool. If you want good Italian, go to Placidos. Not only is their food consistently good, but they will treat you well.

Food, service, ambiance!! This is one of my favorite places. EVERYTIME I visit Oregon this is a must! I highly recommend if you are looking for authentic Italian food! You must love garlic. Enjoy!!
