Creo que ha cambiado de dueños, o de camareros, pero sigue manteniendo su esencia y las tapas.
Antes eran más ricas las tapas y más grandes. Estos nuevos dueños ponen interés pero me gustaba más anteriormente.
Esta un poco de capa caída, pero en su día fue un icono. Si llegas a la hora adecuada hay mucha variedad de fritos a escoger, si hay poca gente la oferta se reduce.
One of my clients in BCN who is from Zaragoza recommended Marly more enthusiastically than any other of his tips on where to eat and it certainly didn 't disappoint! We went on Sunday, in a lull in the rain, and arrived at about 13.30 which was about the perfect time to get there even though it is a bit of a trek from the centre. There were a few other people propping up the bar and eating 'rebozados ' fried, battered tapas for which it is renowned, and as relative newcomers to Zaragoza, we really didn 't know what to do... The tapas aren 't labelled and we weren 't sure if we had to order and be served or help ourselves... The latter is the order of the day. There are plates available to be taken and filled by selecting whichever tapa(s) you want, but if you don 't know you have to ask what is what. Freshly cooked tapas are announced loudly upon their arrival, though. The way to do it is to listen to what other people are saying, ask the barman if in doubt, but definitely order drinks from him. At around 2pm the place became incredibly crowded and noisy (in a good, Spanish way as there were/generally are no tourists, except us, but we went on a weekend away from BCN). Most people there seemed to be having pre lunch nibbles, but as it got fuller, we decided to vacate our little table and find somewhere for lunch ourselves. Wonderful food, at cheap prices €11 for 5 tapas and 2 glasses of wine but try to go before the rush as it may be somewhat overwhelming otherwise. Cheers Carlos!!
