フィードバックを提供するI went with a coworker from Pune and he liked it. Food, drinks, all good and spicy to the level you ask for.
I selected this place for dinner after reviewing other restaurants like Goa and Little India on TripAdvisor. This appeared to have pretty decent feedback so we decided to give it a try even though we had to Uber over 7 Kms. First impression of the place made me take a step back. If you have been to a roadside “Dhabha” in India, you will appreciate the analogy. It’s literally a hole in the wall! A very small place with 6 8 tables, posters of Bollywood movies and Indian songs playing on the video. There is practically zero ambiance and is dimly lit. One star less for that and the fact they don’t serve any alcohol. The owner mentioned he did not want any potential trouble by serving alcohol. There were quite a few items on the menu. We apprehensively ordered a chicken 65 as a appetizer. They asked us about the spice level and we requested mild. We also ordered a dal (lentil) Tadka, Channa, chicken tikka masala, garlic naan and lachedar Parantha. I was pleasantly surprised all the food was served super hot and fresh. As we dug in, we were simply awed by the taste! It was not only delicious but spicy enough to our desired taste! The food hit the spot that’s all I can say and I have eaten Indian food in over 30 countries. Everything was perfect except the breads had excessive butter. We actually over ate and were absolutely stuffed. I would highly recommend this place. If you don’t care about the ambiance but require good food in Guadalajara, just close your eyes and make a bee line to this place!
This is a small restaurant. They have several vegetarian but only one vegan option which I had. It was ok, too salty for my taste. Medium spicy was not spicy at all. Didn't speak any English when I was there. Very friendly though. It's an ok Indian restaurant, can't confirm the other overly positive reviews. If you are looking for it, it's right across the strip mall where the Walmart is.
