Siso Spice Farm - Zanzibar

So a cool experience!!! I learned a lot, the guide was very nice and funny! We have to eat fruit and drink tea!! Amazing experience, highlights recommend.

We visited SISO without prior reservation. It was very nice experience, or guide showed us many different plants and trees, told us a lot about them and let us taste different kinds of fruits. After the tour we had delicious lunch. Definitely worth a visit.

That was probably our most pleasant trip! Everybody was so nice! The guide made the tour of spices, fruit roots plantation so well known... we prepared lunch with them and then ate it, the best meal so far, I really highly recommend. You can book directly through them.

We visited the farm a few days ago with a few friends. we have also booked for a cooking class in advance. we arrived at the farm at 9 o'clock. it was amazing! first we were welcome by siso and the rest of the team. then we stayed at ridhwan, the cooker. He taught us all steps to cook picil with thunfish. this experience was really funny and interesting even if it was a little long (maybe 2 hours,) but normal, sometimes cooking takes time. during the pilau finished cooking, we went to the farm with khamis. he is very friendly and funny, we have learned a lot and laughed. the farm is big and it was really pleasant to go around. we tasted different fruits and spices. khamis really needs time to explain and answer all our questions. the tour takes about 1h30. at the end of the tour we ate pilau with the staff. it was de-li-cious! it was very satisfying and beautiful to eat all together. after a teller obst and a small photoshoot we were in the spicy store and buy a lot of spicy to cook plum again and again. that is really something to do when they get in zanzibar. but be careful, there is a lot of spicy. one of them has a sign very similar to kidichi season, but it is not the right place to live this experience. I recommend this very much!
