I think this $5 order is better. I like that they shred it and throw salad under them and the rolls are delicious. This with a side of green beans and a tea became a weekly trip for me. Historically, their employees were always really nice for a fast food restaurant and even take your trays and bring refills when you were with a senior who was nice. You just don't have anything I liked enough to be a regular one for so far.
The best lobster rolls in 2 torpedo buns and the very best hush puppies so soft in the middle and tasty. Not heavy at all. Can't wait to go back.
A couple of weeks ago, I got the most intense craving for a fish sandwich. But I knew for sure I didn't want one from the typical fast food places that are just more or less fish sticks mashed together and deep fried. YUCK. I remembered that Captain D's had really good, huge filets on their sandwich, but I hadn't been there in years, so I wondered if they would live up to my memory... ohhh myyyy, did they! It tasted so fresh, and it tasted just as delicious as I recalled. Plus, their unsweetened iced tea is unbeatable! Captain D's is now my only go-to for fish sandwiches!
Food is always fresh and hot. The inside is very well kept.
First time trying Captain D's. Pricey, but really nice sized servings. More than enough for a couple of meals. Food is delicious, but a bit greasy. Reminds me of my old childhood favorite Arthur Treacher. We don't order out more than once a month or two. We'll definitely order again.
