Tucker's Seafood Market Deli - Zachary

I like Tuckers. The people there are nice. They cook the food fresh when you order. They have excellent fried catfish. So it can take 15-20 min when you order. But, if you want home cooked Cajun food, it's really the only place in Zachary that I feel comfortable going to.

Excellent onion rings. Online ordering needs tweaking. Overall, pretty good.

I’ve eaten boiled crawfish here pretty regularly the past few summers. It has been hit and miss. There were days I can remember really enjoying them. Last time was the last straw for me as they tasted a little off and gave me food poisoning for a few days. I want to like this place as it seems like a family owned business, but at the end of the day they’re not handling the food they sell properly. The shelf life of boiled crawfish is 2 hours then it’s recommended to refrigerate them. How long do they keep them out? ??

When crawfish season rolls around, we love going to tuckers to get crawfish! It’s always fresh, very flavorful and the service is excellent!

Today I reserved 5 lbs of boiled crawfish and boiled potatoes when I got there they were already in the bag. I waited to get to the park to eat them they were not freshly boiled they were just heated up they tasted like they were boiled the day before. No juice in the heads the tail meat would not come out the shells until fully peeled and lightly seasoned. 34 bucks for them I use to buy crawfish there alot but never again. I called them back and explained the young lady said they were boiled wrong. At 4.99 a pound you think they would be freshly boiled and they were not they were 1 are 2 days old boiled. Never again will I go there not even for any kind of other food.
