Popeye's Chicken Biscuits - Yukon

I ordered the family package of chicken on May 23, 2020, and nearly decided to add some extra cookies. I have to say that over the years, I've never had cookies that could compare to Popeye's. However, the cookies we received yesterday were extremely dry and hard—definitely not soft or fluffy at all. Eating one of those cookies took me back to a visit I made to a place in Yukon a few years ago. The reason I never returned was because of their cookies. There's a competing chicken restaurant nearby that also serves dry, non-flaky cookies, and they're both disappointing. It seems like there are just too many shortcuts taken, and not enough care put into the food.

I called and spoke to a manager to ask about the price I was charged. She said she would check, came back, and asked me again how much I paid, and then said she would check the price again. She informed me that it was $13 something, which still didn’t add up because I was charged $14.44 after taxes were removed. She tried to argue that when you order just the tenders without a meal or dinner, the price is higher— even higher than DoorDash! It’s common knowledge that DoorDash prices are generally higher than in-store prices. This was my first visit, and it will definitely be my last! I recommend reading all the negative reviews on Google before you decide to eat here. They seem to take advantage of customers who don’t ask questions, leaving no proof of their pricing practices!
