Grunow's Kitchen - Yorktown

The staff's service was excellent and attentive. We were always offered drinks. All six of our orders surpassed our expectations—the food was truly delicious. I’m so pleased they’re open in the evenings, as it gives me a convenient local spot to take my children. The kids ordered fish and chips and chicken bites, while the adults enjoyed a variety of sandwiches, and everyone was satisfied. I hesitate to overhype it and risk setting unrealistic expectations, but the waitstaff even provided coloring books and crayons for our 8- and 3-year-olds. It was a wonderful experience, and we highly recommend this restaurant.

A wonderful bistro experience! My wife and I enjoyed every bite and the taste was spectacular. You have a small staff that works very hard to bring food quickly with a full restaurant. Try it yourself!

I called ahead of time and was told to arrive before 1 as a large party was coming in. Arrived a little after 12 and was turned away as they weren?t accepting orders and didn?t know when they would be. So disappointed. I live in Oklahoma and have been looking forward to coming here for months. Drove an hour and a half from where I was staying to have lunch here. On the bright side, Colonial Pancake House was 20 minutes away and very accommodating for gluten free (celiac)

Did not know the entire menu is gluten free, it was a very pleasant surprise! Everything on the menu sounded delicious, so you have a ton of fantastic choices! What I ordered was absolutely tasty, will be back soon!!! ??

My girlfriend has celiac disease, so finding gems like this restaurant during our trip was fantastic. Everything about this place was excellent, and the food certainly lived up to that. I would share pictures, but as soon as the dishes arrived at the table, they were gone in no time!
