Izakaya Tsuki - York

Located in the Richmond Hill York Blvd, it's convenient for the locals. Has many choices of Sake and Japanese dishes, each taste not bad. Slightly pricey but good for people who want to try variety of Japanese dishes. See my pic see the food :)

We had a truly wonderful Sushi platter and amazing squid. Staff was very attentive. Food took some time to prepare while we drank. The wait was absolutely worth it.

Wonderful service! we were very well attended! meals always with high quality! Fresh fish. I recommend it!

We arrived around 6:00pm and were the first patrons of the night. It did get pretty full by the time we left at 8:30. It seems like the place is trying to find itself – it is somewhat dimly lit with a darker decor, yet the hockey game was on several TVs. We had a huge arrangement of sushi and several sushi experts at our table. Some of it was excellent and some of it was average. They had a unique purple rice, but none of us were especially impressed. The presentation of the food was great and the service was really good.

It is one of my family's favourite Japanese restaurant as there are lots of mini dishes that we can choose. Our favourites are the grilled ox tongue and beef sashimi. The sushi is always fresh with purple rice instead of white rice.
