Oscar's Wine Bar and Bistro - York

The restaurant had a fantastic atmosphere, excellent service, delicious food and a perfect location. The staff was friendly and the portions were generous. We went around 9 o'clock on a Sunday with the family and the happy hour was a great bonus.

Still good. we visited here a lot when we lived in york, both the “old place” and the newer ones where he is still today. when I was hoping that it was still good, I went to lunch with the family shopping and wandering around the city. Despite the school holidays and in the regular busy in all york we were happy enough to get a table without waiting. still the same old menu as I remember what is not bad! we had all the burgers, the portions are still as large as they were visiting the last, still as delicious as I remember. the service was good, all were very full!

Great little restaurant. here you will find student types and eating is great. informal atmosphere, but can be very busy

The food at this restaurant is absolutely fantastic, with one of the best burgers I've had in a long time. The starters are delicious. The staff really make the experience special, as they are so accommodating, attentive, friendly, and welcoming. This place is a hidden gem in York. Our server Molly was particularly lovely.
