Big Bite - York

Not been in for a few years due to living near Selby but came in today to get me and my wife a pork sandwich on the way to the hospital due to our son been in. I can honestly say that this is one of the best sandwiches I’ve had in years, maybe not a bad thing living further away as I’d be in here every day and would be skint! Had a good chat with the owner and staff while waiting for the pork to finish cooking and would just say that they are so down to earth and friendly which makes a nice change as you don’t get this in many places. Overall I will be making another visit hopefully very soon and would definitely recommend to anyone wanting decent grub! Thanks again, Dean

Staff are so friendly and their sandwiches are always top notch. I particularly love their Bakewell Tart, which lasts me two days.

Best sarnie shop in York! Always friendly and efficient staff. They don't scrimp on the fillings either. Breakfast sarnies are next level! Hot beef and pork are a must try, theyre always a fave of mine. Can't wait for the café to open in a few months!

Fan-bloomin-tastic. Slightly pricey but well worth the premium. Premises needs to be bigger.
