An absolutely stunning 3-course menu, attentive friendly staff and a great view of the mountain man. one of the best meals I've ever eaten, really. the quality of each dish was second to none and they could taste every ingredient! use the best restaurant where we have eaten for a long time.

My wife and I go once to eat. we travel a lot and eat in many restaurants in the UK. that is one of the best we were. we had a three-course meal and each dish was fantastic. I loved the starter pan roasted king prawns superb. david and kath. sheffield

We ate here last night. that was great. fresh and beautifully cooked and presented. we had 1 huh filet eat and 1smoked haddock risotto. then two tasty desserts. weinkeller also excellent. must be the best in york.

Came to the breakfast here on Friday morning. led by trip advisor reviews, but first as my friend and I were the only ones there at 10:30. but big place in the sunset and the staff has picked up my request for a few speck with my touch. it was divine! washed off with excellent coffee. the cafe started after approx. 20 minutes, with people eating tea and cake. will definitely go back and maybe try the dinner next time.
