Afro Tacos - Yokohama

桜木町近くのアタタコスに訪れました。こちらはメキシコ料理のレストランですが、アメリカンな味も楽しめるおしゃれなロフトのある空間です。スタッフの方々は非常に気配りがあり、訪れた際にはすべてを丁寧に説明してくれました。今回は「チップス」を注文しました。

The quesadilla was tiny, roughly the size of a quarter, cut into delicate triangles and sparsely topped with finely sliced jalapenos and peppers, but it lacked cheese. The beef in the tacos was chunky and, to my dismay, completely unseasoned, relying instead on an overload of meat tenderizer. For flavor, the chef seemed to depend heavily on coriander, little limes, and chunks of pineapple. While that combination might be fine, it doesn't truly represent Mexican cuisine. I also experienced an odd aftertaste reminiscent of prawn shells on the corn tortillas. The pulled pork was acceptable, aside from a fishy flavor, but at 660 yen per piece, we struggled to satisfy our hunger. The drinks were so diluted that they were hardly recognizable as alcoholic beverages. Overall, it felt like a massive rip-off and left me quite disappointed. On a positive note, the staff were wonderful, but even the best service can't salvage a dining experience like this. I'm accustomed to hearty portions of rice, beans, tortillas, and flavorful fillings, along with strong drinks and a lively atmosphere—none of which we found here. I strongly advise against visiting this restaurant.

The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere, and the staff were exceptionally friendly, greeting us with warm smiles. While I would return for the drinks, I wasn't as impressed with the food. It looked great and was very photogenic, but the taste was just average. Additionally, the prices felt a bit high considering the portion sizes were rather small. I would definitely come back after having a hearty dinner to enjoy drinks and snacks.

Just a heads up: I recommend making a reservation. When we tried to go back on a Sunday, the upstairs was booked for a party, and the downstairs was reservation-only and fully booked. It was quite disappointing after the journey, so be sure to reserve in advance before you go!

ベジタコスを注文しましたが、ひどいものでした！タコスには蓮の茎が使われていて、変な味がしました。こんなにまずいタコスは初めてです！3チーズスナックケサディーヤもただの見た目だけの料理で、味は全くありません！お金の無駄です！チーズの味すら感じません！価格が高すぎます！座っているだけで料金を取られます！
