Barahonda - Yecla

I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. It could the impact of the experience was heightened by the fact that I was here with a great group of people, but good food, presentation and quality is in and of itself. Everything was presented in a beautiful aesthetic and at the perfect temperature. I have zero complaints about the quality of the ingredients. My favorite tapa was the croqueta (de kimchee con salmón ahumado y huevas de tobiko). They were hot, held together through the bite (I ate it in two), the salmon added the right saltiness and the roe provided a surprising contrast to the creaminess of the croqueta. If ordered, I recommend consuming these last of all the dishes. The flavor intensity is next level, but not overwhelming as kimchee can sometimes be, The red and white wines we received were exquisite. As for the wait staff , they were attentive and executed their jobs perfectly from the time our party entered until we vacated. It was a special night celebrating life and the prices were commensurate with the experience. Lest I forget, the views and the entire terrace were simply beautiful.

The visit of the winery could have been better as our guide, although nice, was kind of reciting a text and most of the outside part in the cold wind could have been inside. However this was greatly compensated by a nice wine tasting with tapas and a delicious lunch.

We visited for tapas on the terrace , sampling their Italian themed tapas. We shared 6 different dishes, all beautifully presented, and enjoyed with a few glasses of Barahonda 's own crianza wine. Great service, and the staff allowed me to practice my Spanish.

La bodega Barahonda es una bodega familiar situada en un entorno que se adapta perfectamente a la naturaleza de la yecla, tiene hermosas instalaciones en las que ambos pueden visitarlas y disfrutar de una cata de vinos. de este último tiene un extenso catálogo desde el más joven y asequible como otros de un proceso más artesanal, lento y complejo. la visita a través de la bodega ha sido grande, han sido capaces de explicar y transmitir la esencia de barahonda. visita y degustación totalmente recomendada.

Excelente visita a la bodega y un restaurante que vale la pena venir por su calidad y servicio. vinos de la región de muy buena calidad y precios de ajo. es un lugar para tener en cuenta cada vez que se propone visitar la zona.
